Last Dec. 4, the media partners of the MVP Group of Companies drove to the ritzy Society Lounge in Makati City for a Christmas get-together, hosted by Mon Isberto, Joel Lacsama, Jera Sison and Mike Toledo, who belted out a song, to the amusement of the crowd.
During the raffle, Inquirer columnist Rina Jimenez-David won an LED TV set, while Juliet Labog-Javellana and Business section editor Raul Marcelo took home an iPhone 6 and the grand prize of P50,000, respectively!
Also present during the merry-making: Corrie Narisma, Chupsie Medina, Ding Marcelo, Melody del Rosario, Vince Hizon, Patricia Bermudez-Hizon, Jay-Anne Encarnado and Lito Tacujan.
On the other hand, the Public Relations Society of the Philippines held its Pirates-themed holiday party at Titania Wine Cellar. PRSP president Bong Osorio and Cherry Mijares won as Mr. and Ms Pirates of the Night.
Other winners: Triccia Dacer was declared Sexiest Pirate; Benjamin Bagaman, Outrageous Pirate; Charo Yu, First Pirate to Register, and emcee Chito Maniago, Good-Looking Pirate.
At the Women in Media Bulong-Pulungan sa Sofitel, the special guest was President Benigno Aquino III, who fielded questions from the core.
This year’s Christmas season is turning out to be a truly Merry Christmas, because Typhoon “Ruby” didn’t just spare Manila, the government also showed that it was prepared for it!
