MANILA, Philippines – Get your guts and bones ready as the country’s biggest, loudest, and most anticipated all-Filipino Music Festival comes banging at the Globe Circuit Event Grounds, Circuit Makati this December 20, on never-before-seen scale in the decades-long history of Original Pinoy Music!

Ladies and gentlemen, Rakista Radio presents “Rakrakan Festival 2014,” a massive, one-day celebration of Pinoy music, sports, art, and pride. It’s that time of the year again for YOU to rock ‘til you drop!

Rakrakan Festival: Rock ‘Til You Drop” will once more bring the finest, the baddest, and the most electrifying acts known in the current local music scene with all the intensity and glamor a music festival of grand proportions can provide.

Now on its second year, “Rakrakan Festival” will proudly stage at least SEVENTY of the industry’s best artists, up on THREE individual platforms representing distinct musical cultures.

Get intoxicated with the diversity of sounds ranging from the rough, distorted riffs of rock and the heavy, merciless breakdowns of metal and hardcore at the Mosh Stage; to the ebullient and amiable tunes of pop, alternative, and electronica at the Move Stage; and to the warm, mellifluous rhythms of reggae, soul, and jazz music at the Groove Stage; all in ONE huge space – definitely, a euphoric haven for every soul who eats, sleeps and breathes music. In addition, last year’s main festival extracurriculars will be pumped up accordingly to complement the increased volume of our stage speakers:

Rakrakan Festival: Rock ‘Til You Drop” started in 2013 with the aim of showcasing the best of what OPM can offer. It was pictured to be the largest congregation of homegrown artists and their supporters of its time, a utopia for every rock-hearted and hardheaded Rakista fam. It turned out to be a successful celebration of everything that espouses the culture of OPM, its talents and its future. Inspired by this feat, Rakista Radio now aims to help bring skills and crafts of Filipinos to a broader, international audience, one festival at a time.

So don’t miss it.
