Jason Mraz arrives in Manila for concert
MANILA, Philippines — Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Jason Mraz arrived in the country on Wednesday night for the Manila leg of his concert tour.
Mraz, who is in the country to promote his fifth studio album “Yes!”, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 3 at 9:57 p.m. on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old artist, who first became famous because of the song “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry),” will perform a one-night-only show at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 27. Joining him on stage is the eclectic rock-folk band from Los Angeles, Raining Jane.
Raining Jane — composed of Mai Bloomfield, Chaska Potter, Mona Tavakoli, and Becky Gebhardt — helped Mraz write all songs for his fifth album, except “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday”which is a Boyz II Men original.
Before collaborating for “Yes!”, Mraz and Raining Jane worked together on “A Beautiful Mess” – a track from Mraz’s third studio album “We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.”
