We gave “Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig” a grade of A at the Cinema Evaluation Board.

Romantic fools like me relish the film’s giddy vibe. The film perfectly captures the joys of first love.

Show Town’s next teen heartthrobs—Iñigo Pascual, Julian Estrada and Sofia Andres—give the audience kilig overload in this rom-com romp.

Iñigo is on the brink of stepping out of his dad Piolo Pascual’s shadow. The son is now on the rise. With his dad behind him, how can Iñigo fail?

The doting dad Papa P shares his thoughts with us:

What advice did you give Iñigo about show biz and love?

About show biz: To be humble and patient and not to forget the people who are helping him. Also, to be thankful for the blessings.

About love: He’s preoccupied with his   goals. I’m glad that love is not his priority now. But I’ll always be open to hear him out and share my own experiences.

In what way is Iñigo similar to, and different from, you?

Both of us are fond of kids and watching movies. We are outdoorsy and adventurous. He is different in his music style, though. He plays some instruments and composes songs. He is restless.

What will “Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig” teach us about relationships?

That love should be taken as it is. Love is love and each person has a different journey in life.

If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would it be and why?

I want to be that guy who goes on lots of extreme adventures, Bear Grylls. I want to explore the world and discover things I don’t see or do every day.

Is there anything that people don’t know about you?

Aside from the fact that I love to sleep? I’m a nomad. I love to explore new places.

ROBIN Padilla acts as “lawyer” to contestants who got the boot.

Reinventing Binoe

Since Robin Padilla started hosting TV 5’s “Talentadong Pinoy (TP),” along with Mariel Rodriguez and Tuesday Vargas, he has given the program an all-new vibe. Binoe uses his charm and affinity to the masses to make the contestants and the audience feel at ease.

In short, he gives his all to the program.

According to production insiders, he goes to the studio in Novaliches the night before taping day. He spends the night there.

He makes sure to eat with the contestants so he will get to know their stories.

Robin interacts with the studio audience and accommodates all their picture-taking requests after each taping.

He’s also fond of taking “selfies” with the audience and shares the shots on his Instagram account.

The show introduced an innovation that was not done in past seasons—the host’s “save” power.

This feature is very Robin . He is given one “save” per episode to give another chance to a contestant who has gotten the boot from the judges.

Binoe acts as the contestant’s “lawyer,” as he tries to convince the judges why the contestant deserves another chance to prove his/her talent.

Looking back on the Robin chapter of my crazy, colorful life, I am not a bit surprised to hear about Binoe’s personal touch in TP.

He really has a knack for making people feel that they matter. Even if he is way up there, he is not unreachable at all.

He is never too much of a Robin Padilla to be a friend.
