Mikael Daez shuttles between comedy and drama

Mikael Daez wants to be known for his versatility: He hones his comedic chops in “Bubble Gang” and “Ismol Family” and does romantic drama opposite Andrea Torres in “Ang Lihim Ni Annasandra.”
He says he’s even willing to try sexy roles, which is why he keeps himself fit. He watches what he eats and maintains a healthy lifestyle. He plays basketball and goes to the gym at an unholy hour—midnight!
The actor is thankful for the opportunities coming his way. He shares, “I know that I won’t always be this busy, so I treasure what I have now.”
Mikael and Andrea are comfortable with each other, especially after having worked with each other in “Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga” and “With A Smile.” He’s pleased that his hard work has paid off, because “I’m focused, and I’m a team player.”
The actor is also known for his adventurous spirit—in fact, during his recent trip to Cambodia, he even ate a tarantula!
