The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) has launched the “Climate Change Scriptwriting Contest.”

Screenwriters are urged to “focus on aspects of climate change for either a short feature script or a full-length documentary script,” according to a statement from the FDCP. Deadline for submissions is on Dec. 19, at 2 p.m.

Two sets of committee judges will decide on the winners—one panel per category. The jurors will be revealed when all entries are in, the statement said. Results will be announced in January 2015.
