GMA 7 kicked off its “Share the Love” Christmas campaign, when the network’s stars surprised the first beneficiaries of 49 homes in the Kapuso Village in Tacloban on Oct 26.
They thought it was just an orientation on the village rules, so they were pleased to see the celebrities, who led the gift-giving.
“Seeing their favorite stars made the occasion all the more special,” said Mel Tiangco, GMA Kapuso Foundation EVP and COO.
An additional 123 houses will be ready soon. In the next few months, 231 more houses will be turned over to their new owners.
