At a forum hosted by Pfizer, Dr. Jorge Sison of the Philippine Heart Association’s Council on Hypertension stressed the need to address the rise in the prevalence of hypertension in the country.
He discussed the latest guidelines on hypertension with Dr. Cris Dumo and Dr. Roland Schmieder.
The best advice I got is be careful with what I eat, eat food that grows on trees and vines, avoid stress, create a relaxed atmosphere at home, play gentle music, sleep early, stay positive and exercise. —And, take your medicine!
