Influential personality had been eyeing Hot Hunk for a while. Playing it coy, HH snubbed IP’s generous offers in cash and in kind.

Then HH suffered a major career setback and, in dire financial straits, finally agreed to go on a date with IP.

Through Industry Insiders, IP scored a one-on-one “meeting” with HH. IP himself is currently beset with all sorts of problems. Still, he cleared his calendar and hooked up with HH in an exclusive resort.

FEATURED STORIES

No, IP didn’t mean to turn his back on enormous responsibilities. He merely indulged in a little R & R. In HH’s arms.

Photoshopping magazine covers is common biz practice. But editing vacation photos to make the holiday-maker look 20 years younger takes the gold medal in the vanity Olympics.

CARLA Abellana is still smarting.

CARLA Abellana is still smarting.

Perhaps Visiting Mentor believes that an actor can be effective only if he is honest with himself. Or was VM just nosy?

Noting that Conflicted Heartthrob was a bit inhibited, VM pointedly asked, “Are you gay?” CH was tongue-tied. Uh-oh.

Billing wars

At a splashy event, they were all-smiles on cam. Actually, Boob-tube Personality was stewing in bile.

Apparently, someone made the mistake of introducing BP’s Upstart Colleague ahead of everyone.

BP acted cool onstage, but later bared fangs and told everyone who cared to listen, “I was here way ahead!”

That’s what an attack of “billingitis” looks like.

Relentless

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Noisy Personality is still at it, badmouthing Former Sweetheart. Clearly, NP has yet to recover from their ugly breakup, and is behind the smear campaign against FS.

The latest scuttlebutt links FS with Older (and married) Lover. Of course, NP wasted no time spreading the details.

Mouthwash in purse

KARYLLE

KARYLLE

Karylle is happy to be the new endorser of mouthwash brand OraCare. She carries a small bottle everywhere.

She explains: “I’m a certified foodie. I love eating savory dishes with lots of spices and condiments—the tastier, the better—which kind of reflects the way I enjoy life. The downside to that is a strong aftertaste. Sometimes it’s hard to remove the smell.” Thus the mouthwash in the purse, and her confident smile.

Bale as Jobs

LOS ANGELES – Oscar-winner Christian Bale will play Apple cofounder Steve Jobs in a coming biopic.

“We needed the best actor on the board in a certain age range and it was Chris Bale,” screenwriter Aaron Sorkin said, in an interview with Bloomberg TV posted online Thursday.

Sorkin, who won an Academy Award for “The Social Network” said the decision was easy: “He didn’t have to audition.” Sorkin is writing the script for Sony Pictures based on the 2011 biography “Steve Jobs,” by Walter Isaacson.

“There isn’t a scene or a frame that he’s not in. So it’s an extremely difficult part and he is going to crush it,” Sorkin said.

Jobs was rendered on the big screen last year in “Jobs,” starring Ashton Kutcher, which received lukewarm reviews. AFP

Keira in Broadway

British actress Keira Knightley will make her Broadway debut next year, starring in a new adaptation of the 19th century Emile Zola novel, “Therese Raquin,” New York’s Roundabout Theatre Company announced Thursday. AFP

Pasok sa Top 12 sexiest males sa show biz kasama si Bossing; Daniel Padilla lumelebel ng kaseksihan nina Dingdong Dantes, Jericho Rosales, Piolo Pascual at Dennis Trillo. (Shouldn’t we wait till he’s 21? Right now, it feels wrong. Pedo ang peg.)

Carla Abellana nagtatalak na naman, galit na galit pa rin kay Geoff Eigenmann. (Let it go, girl!)

Pinatay na transgender sa Olongapo inalipusta ni DJ Mo, tinawag na prosti. (Dude, shut up already. Like, really, shut it.)
