During the recent general meeting of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines at Richmonde Hotel, over 60 members showed up when they learned that the topic was about “PR in the Arts,” with Ana Labrador as main speaker and art critic Cid Reyes as reactor.
Labrador stressed the richness of our culture and heritage. She said she was thankful for the opportunity given to her and Jeremy Barnes, director of the National Museum, by President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III to spearhead the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the museum.
Recently, the museum introduced its latest exhibit, “Faith, Tradition and Place: Bangsamoro Art from the National Ethnographic Collection.” It has also been adding and developing museums in the different regions of the country. Admission to the National Museum in Manila is free for October as it celebrates Museums and Galleries Month.
