Tokyo-Manila jazz fest today
The Tokyo-Manila Jazz & Arts Festival (TMJAF) starts with “Special Evening of Jazz,” at The Long Bar, Raffles Hotel, Makati, Friday night at 8:30. The main event will be held at Rockwell Tent, on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The “TMJAF Workshop for Young Musicians” will be held on Sunday, at the National Museum, 10:30 a.m. “Young Artists Jam with TMJAF” will be on Sunday, 7:30 p.m. at Greenbelt 5. Call TicketWorld (8919999) for details.

Singer Don Moen’s “God Will Make a Way! Philippine Tour 2014,” an evening of contemporary Christian songs, will be held tonight at the new CCF Center, Frontera Verde, Ortigas Ave., Pasig City. ‘Himig ng Pag-Asa’
A fundraising concert, “Himig ng Pag-asa,” will feature Noel Cabangon on Oct. 26, at the Moomba Bar Café, Roces Ave. cor. Mother Ignacia St., Quezon City.
“Himig ng Pag-asa” is for the benefit of the Quezon City High School Alumni Association Inc.’s Adopt-a-Future scholarship program, which has been helping needy students of Quezon City High School and sending new graduates to college since 2008.
