It was a merry get-together, not only for the members of the 1980s show band Music & Magic, but for the audience, too.

It was nostalgia time on Oct. 3 for those who watched “Trending: Music & Magic: The Reunion Concert.”

Singers Kuh Ledesma, Eva Caparas, Fe de los Reyes, Angeli Pangilinan, Vicky Sevilla-Pangilinan and Jet Montelibano had a blast reliving their Alibi Bar days—this time at a bigger venue, the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center.

As expected, the oh-so-retro “costumes,” conceptualized by Ledesma and Montelibano, were “the icing on the cake,” as Caparas so aptly put it.

Isabella Gonzalez, Kuh’s daughter, had another job backstage as assistant director. (Directing duties were shared by Isabella’s mom and Uncle Jet).

Now, there are “offers to do a concert tour here and abroad,” said producer and talent manager Sandra Chavez.
