‘Safe Haven,’ ‘Modern Day Slaves’ to be shown at Asian Art Museum

SAFE HAVEN at AAM

SAN FRANCISCO – “Safe Haven,” the gripping film documentary of pre-World War II Philippines and the humanitarian effort that saved the lives of 1,300 Jews from the Holocaust will be shown by the National Federation of Filipino American Associations at the 5th Annual Filipino American History celebration at the Asian Art Museum at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 5.

The Asian Art Museum celebration will also feature the “Modern Day Slaves” about the 11 million documented and hundreds of thousands of undocumented “modern day slaves” today. It is also presented by NaFFAA.
