Cherry Pie Picache
MANILA, Philippines – The mother of actress Cherry Pie Picache was found dead in her Quezon City home Friday, according to Picache’s manager.
Baby Sison, 75, was found in her home in Barangay (village) Paligsahan, with stab wounds, initial reports quoting police said.
The actress went to her mother’s house Friday after Sison did not respond to her calls, the same reports said.
Ed Instrella, Picache’s manager, said the actress talked. to police who searched Sison’s home for valuables that could have been stolen.
Picache herself has not issued any statement regarding the incident.
Picache, an award winning actress, is the youngest of four siblings. Her two sisters are based in the US. A brother used to live with the mom, said Instrella.
