RURU Madrid in “Above the Clouds”
Filipino filmmaker Pepe Diokno’s “Above the Clouds” is one of five recipients of the Visions Sud Est post-production grant, producer Bianca Balbuena told the Inquirer. The indie film, which stars rock legend Pepe Smith and GMA 7 teen star Ruru Madrid, will receive 10,000 CHF (P474,886) for post-production. Visions Sud Est is a joint project of the Trigon Film Foundation, the Fribourg, Locarno and Nyon film festivals and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Bayani San Diego Jr.
