Epy Quizon in Toronto fest

After Angeli Bayani in “Iloilo,” a Filipino actor is top-billed in another Singaporean film. Epy Quizon stars in Ken Kwek’s “Unlucky Plaza,” which will be shown at the 39th Toronto International Film tomorrow and Sept. 12. Director Kwek and actors Quizon and Judee Tan will attend a Q&A session on Saturday. In the “nail-biting, multi-character thriller,” Quizon plays a Filipino single dad in dire straits.
