SM Lifestyle Entertainment hosts the Chinese Film Festival in select SM Cinema branches from Sept. 5 to 9.
To mark the Mid-Autumn (or Mooncake) Festival, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines is presenting movies that “encourage a deeper understanding of China’s cultural diversity.”
Said Edgar Tejero, president of SM Lifestyle Entertainment, “Through the fest, we hope to strengthen the ties of China and the Philippines.”
Among the featured movies are “Back to 1942,” “Caught in the Web,” “The Grandmaster,” “Full Circle” and the Jackie Chan-starrer “Little Big Soldier.” These will be shown at SM Megamall, North Edsa, San Lazaro and Manila. Admission is free.
