Nat’l choral competition

Manila Broadcasting Company invites choirs from schools, churches, residential communities, offices and special interest groups to join the 2014 MBC National Choral Competition.

Considered the biggest tilt of its kind in the country, it has two divisions: 1) Children’s Choirs (with P100,000 at stake), and 2) Open Category, (P150,000 prize cash).

Live auditions will be conducted in Cauayan, Isabela (Sept. 27), Iloilo City (Oct. 4) and at the Star Theater in Pasay City (Oct. 12). Choirs from other provinces may send an application packet consisting of a high-quality audition video and an accomplished application form, which should be received at the MBC head office in Pasay on or before Oct. 10.
