Margulies wins Emmy as best actress in drama

LOS ANGELES—Julianna Margulies, the embattled lawyer, mom and mate on “The Good Wife,” is the winner of her second Emmy Award for best actress in a drama series.

Margulies previously won an Emmy in 2011 for her starring role in the long-running CBS series. She also won the trophy for best supporting actress in 1995 for the medical drama “ER.”

Her rivals in the best-actress category were Claire Danes, Michelle Dockery, Robin Wright, Lizzy Caplan and Kerry Washington.
