MANILA, Philippines—Social media was abuzz Saturday night with talk that Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero and actress Heart Evangelista are now engaged.
Evangelista’s bestfriend, actress Lovi Poe, posted on Instagram a picture of the two kissing.
“I’m so happy for you guyz! Chiz and Heart. You finally found someone who gives you the feeling that people write novels about,” Poe said in the caption of her photo.
“Someday when the time comes, all I have to do is look at you both and always remember to choose happiness more than anything in this world,” Poe added.
A photo posted on Twitter shows Escudero, said to be eyeing the presidential seat in the 2016 elections, on his knees and appears to be offering an engagement ring to Evangelista.
