In support of National Language Month, Ogie Alcasid said he’d like Nate, his son with Regine Velasquez, to be fluent in Filipino.

“I encourage him to speak our own language. Not to judge other parents, but I feel sad when I meet Filipino children who can’t understand our own language and speak only English. Kailangan magalang sila at marunong ding magsalita ng  Filipino.” Marinel R. Cruz
