It’s a pity when mainstream excesses seep into the indie scene.
A spy says Showbiz Insider, smitten with Attractive Neophyte, made sure to build up AN in a new project.
AN was given prime exposure and showered with media attention. SI went a step further, adding a dramatic moment for AN. The additional scene didn’t do AN any good. She was doing well, in fact, until that emotionally charged highlight exposed her glaring limitations.
People should learn to quit while they’re ahead.
Collective arrogance

Acclaimed Performer was ecstatic to receive an inquiry from MS. AP waited for months before the project finally pushed through.
AP gave up other promising assignments to accommodate MS’ offer. When the cameras started grinding, MS execs gave AP the walking papers.
AP’s performance purportedly failed to meet MS’ expectations.
But MS is hardly known for its (beautiful but bland) stars’ exceptional portrayals.
Cranky duo
Turned out, Popular Personality is not all that warm and affable.
Staffers in a hospital got a dose of PP’s crabby attitude. PP snubbed the employees who only wanted a souvenir snapshot. Worse, PP was rude and snooty.
Pretty Entertainer’s Diminutive Husband was just as boorish. Showbiz Denizen asked to take PE’s photo. DH made it known that he was bothered by the simple request, which took all of one minute.

Top Honcho has an unsavory track record in the biz. TH conspired with Veteran Artist and filched millions from High-profile Celebrity’s company.
Over half of the budget earmarked for a Failed Project went to the pockets of VA and TH. Now, TH is back on the scene, living the high life and bullying hapless minions.
Missing

Seasoned Stud has been scarce of late, and rumors about the unexpected disappearance are plenty.
There is talk that SS has shacked up with Rich Benefactor abroad. But, a mole insists that SS is recuperating from a sexually transmitted disease. It’s unclear whether SS got the illness from a female or male lover.
