MTRCB launches own show

Premiering Sunday, Aug. 10 on People’s Television Network at 8 p.m. is “MTRCB Uncut,” an infotainment program about the television and motion picture industries.

Hosted by Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) members Bobby Andrews and Jackie Aquino, the show has several segments:

“Pulso ni Juan at Juana,” has actress Gladys Reyes interviewing viewers. “Kita-Keats,” features educator Carmen “Keats” Musngi. Reyes and Musngi are board members, too.

“Prangkahan” is a no-holds barred discussion with board members and resource persons about protecting the family, the youth, the disabled, senior citizens and other “vulnerable sectors.”

FEATURED STORIES

“Klik Kay Juan at Juana” is a celebrity segment. Actress Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo guests in the first episode.

MTRCB Chair Eugenio “Toto” Villareal answers questions in “i-Share Mo Kay Chair.”

“MTRCB Uncut” is the agency’s first foray into TV production. “This will help us fulfill our developmental commitment to televiewers and moviegoers.”
