Willie Nep as Joseph Estrada in “Stop! In the Name of Laugh,” answering Bernadette Sembrano’s question (To clear everything once and for all, kayo po ba si Jose Velarde? Clarissa Ocampo testified that she was one foot away from you when you repeatedly signed the name Jose Velarde.):

“That’s ridiculous, a brazen lie! In the first place, there was no foot between us. I admit I repeatedly signed the name Jose Velarde, but I’m not Jose Velarde. Ganito kasi ang nangyari. She showed me several documents and she told me, ‘Sign above the printed name.’ Isa-sign ko na sana ang pangalan ko na Joseph Ejercito Estrada pero ang nakita kong printed name ay Jose Velarde. “So, para hindi naman ako magmukhang tanga, kung ano yung printed name, yun ang nai-sign ko… Ako pa!”
