Powerful celeb’s son too chummy with closeted cutie
As if Influential Celeb didn’t have enough woes, Young Son is getting too chummy for comfort with Closeted Cutie.
Photos of YS and CC are making the rounds in cyberspace. Nothing alarming about a little bromance, maybe, but intrigue-mongers are having a field day.
CC is smitten. Is YS clueless? Or is the feeling two-way?
Netizens point out that, in the past, brusque and bossy IC was linked to Handsome Hunk, who’s now missing in action. Who knew?!
Proof positive
Execs are fumbling all over, justifying the impending demise of High-profile Project.
Article continues after this advertisementAccording to the rumor mill, HP was supposed to wrap up in six months. Alas, the end is nearer than that.
Article continues after this advertisementInsiders claim that the rushed finale was the original plan all along because the story cannot be stretched any further. (Huh? How to explain a certain venture’s two-year run? Where there’s a will, there’s a way in Show Town.)
This must be proof that Noisy Personality, star of HP, is no longer as popular as before. Hmm.
Unexpected cameo
Gay Insider held a pictorial years ago at his lavish home.
To cap the shoot, GI served lunch to the media visitors. Who would show up but … Aging Lothario!
AL had long been rumored to be GI’s lover, so it was a potentially awkward situation. GI tried to sweep the blunder under the rug by introducing AL as a talent in his nonexistent management firm.
However, it just became obvious that AL was cohabiting with GI at the time. Someone neglected to remind AL not to have lunch at home, that’s all.
Postscript: GI and AL are no longer an item.
Math problem
What a fine mess!
Former Girlfriend is running after Visiting Entertainer, claiming that VE knocked her up during a gig in Manila six months ago.
Only problem is, FG is about to give birth. Do the math.
Flirting with disaster
From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
Troubled Actor is back to his old ways.
A mole relates that TA smuggles alcohol into the set and drinks like a fish between takes.
Now, TA is a mean drunk. He becomes rowdy and bungles his lines, delaying the shoot big time.
Worse, he flirts shamelessly with female staffers.
He is a disaster waiting to happen.
Top of the Talk Shows
For those who missed this week’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):
Ai-Ai de las Alas on Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos being bashed for wrong spelling in a note sent to Kris Aquino: “As a Vilmanian, na-hurt ako for her … Hindi siya dapat i-bash dahil lang doon.” (We know who should be; sometimes karma takes way too long.)
Ai-Ai on Kris uploading Vi’s note to Instagram: “Sana next time hindi na lang … ’Pag idol mo, proteksyunan mo na lang.” (Korek, korek, korek. Kaya lang, ngayon lang daw siya natutong maging “selfless,” ’di ba? Next!)
Lolit Solis’ message to Ate Vi: “Kahit ano pa ang sabihin nila, mali-mali man ang spelling mo, mali-mali man ang grammar mo, para sa ’kin, mas mataas pa rin ang level mo kay Kris.” (Let us not dilute this with another swipe.)
Matet de Leon on people saying that her adoptive mother, Nora Aunor, doesn’t deserve to become a national artist because of her alleged history with drugs: “Tuwing tatanggap siya ng award, dala niya ang buong Pilipinas, hindi lang ang sarili niya. Sa bawat taong namimintas sa kanya, sana maisip ni’yo rin po kung ano ang naiambag ng nanay ko.” (Looks like you’re preaching to the choir.)
Nora on being given an award by Gabriela Women’s Party for her performance in the film “Minsa’y Isang Gamu-Gamo”: “Natutuwa po ako na nakikita pa rin at binibigyan ng importansya [ang pelikulang ito].” (And there you have an artist judged for her work, not for her life.)
Heart Evangelista, asked what her answer would be if Sen. Chiz Escudero proposed to her: “’Di na niya kailangang mag-propose.” (Right. Sometimes you don’t hear the question. Twice.)
Lovi Poe, asked to confirm if she had a relationship with Jake Cuenca: “Uh, yeah.” (This one is not hard of hearing, thank goodness.)
Jackie Rice, asked how her father and boyfriend reacted to her daring scenes in the movie “Kamkam”: “Nagalit ang tatay ko. ’Yung boyfriend ko, ang tagal naming ’di nag-usap.” (That’s awkward, yes.)
Angeline Quinto, asked if she and Erik Santos have locked lips: “Agad-agad? Hindi pa, strict ang parents ko!” (Uh, really?)
Sarah Geronimo, asked if she thinks Matteo Guidicelli is worth keeping: “Siyempre naman. Kapag nagmahal ka ng isang tao, you think of him na he’s worth it.” (If you thought this way earlier, you might have kept… whom?)
