Solution to conflicts
Every day, we witness different types of conflicts, personal or otherwise. In our country, politicians are accused of misusing public funds, but around the world, some states are being seen as aggressors engaged in oppressive or terroristic activities. But, these dire situations have a simple solution:
A great spiritual teacher explains that conflicts today and throughout history are caused by not acknowledging the truth that, regardless of race, gender or religion, we’re all interconnected as brothers and sisters. We come from the same source, the Supreme Being.
This ever-changing world isn’t our real home, and genuine happiness isn’t found in ownership of material things or dominance over others, but in love and selfless service.
Inner peace, satisfaction and harmony begin when we’re motivated by compassion and servitude, rather than greed and the desire for dominance.
