Kapuso actress Andrea Torres started auditioning for commercials at age 6 but didn’t land one till she was 17.

She almost gave up on her show biz dreams. Now, the 24-year-old has top-billed two TV series—“With a Smile” and “Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga.”

She told the Inquirer: “Maraming times ako na-discourage … nakakalungkot, kasi ’di mo alam kung ano mali sa ’yo. But every time I thought of quitting, a project came along. Maybe there’s hope!” Allan Policarpio
