Former PBB contestant held for marijuana possession—report
MANILA, Philippines – Former reality show contestant Divine Smith was held at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) terminal 3 after authorities found marijuana inside her luggage Wednesday, according to a television report.
Filipino-British Smith, a former Pinoy Big Brother housemate, told Naia security who were questioning her that the illegal substance was “planted” as she pointed out that she left her baggage inside a taxi before the airport inspection.
Authorities have not determined whether Smith owned the marijuana pack.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents confirmed that the seized substance was marijuana.
