Television host Kris Aquino posted a heartfelt birthday greeting on Instagram, leaving many to believe that it was for Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.
“I will always have this piece of my heart that smiles whenever I think about you,” the greeting said, followed by a lengthy message.
Aquino, not naming the recipient of the birthday greeting, explained, “You admitted to me you still check my IG, so here’s hoping you do get to read this.”
She said the person made her birthday last February 14 “extremely special and memorable just because you were there.”
“I may not be around, and we’ve distanced ourselves on purpose but nevertheless you do know how I continue to pray for your success, peace of mind & heart, and lasting happiness… Happy Birthday!” It even had the hashtag may122014.
Bautista was born on May 12, 1968 in Quezon City.
In another post, Aquino thanked someone “for the effort, for the friendship and attention, for the intelligent, mature conversation and for being a gentleman.”
“I couldn’t go to sleep without saying thank you for making time for me today. I appreciated it very much. Good night,” she added.
Early last month, Aquino admitted on television that she was dating Bautista.
“We are a work in progress, and it’s a joint project that both of us are happily undertaking with maturity, respect and commitment,” she said.
However, weeks later, she posted on Instagram, “We are not a couple but we are best of friends.”
Reports said the relationship ended because the publicity has badly affected Bautista’s children with ex Tates Gana and another woman.
