Star endorses firm, patronizes its rival

/ 12:09 AM April 30, 2014

JAMES Reid has told Heart Evangelista how he feels about her.

So much for credibility. Controversial Personality was paid millions to endorse a Certain Company. A mole discovered, however, that CP patronizes Rival Firm.

Mole asks: Does CP use the money  CC pays, for RF’s expensive services? CP is not known for loyalty (or honesty).

CP once announced, “I’m allergic to pets.” But when the price was right, CP suddenly developed immunity and posed with furry creatures for an ad.

FEATURED STORIES

That’s just as bad as short-haired stars who wear extensions for shampoo commercials. There’s a lot of them.

Competitive spirit

Sexy Nymphet’s lucrative sideline as an escort girl is catching up with her. After all, no secret stays hidden for long.

SN was outed by Seasoned Professional, a fellow “escort.”

SP insists that SN dates wealthy men between show biz gigs—for P30,000 to P50,000 per appointment.

Is SP just sour-graping because she can charge only P10,000 on a good night?

Common pastime

DANIEL Padilla is nervous about his second Big Dome concert.

They have more things in common than they care to admit. Beautiful Star and Gorgeous Colleague are sworn enemies and can’t stand being near each other.

Turns out, BS and GC have the same hobby, but GC is obviously more skillful. Is this all coincidental, or did BS pick up the same pastime to spite GC?

Petty, petty.

Common past

Glamorous Star has something in common with Dazzling Celeb. GS’ Current Beau is DC’s former flame.

It’s a small world, after all.

Does this lend credence to the rumor that CB is drawn to popular personalities? Or is he really a star magnet?

Someone close to GS doesn’t approve of CB, and has a mouthful to say about the guy.

Being DC’s ex taints CB, says this disgruntled insider.

Imaginary affair

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera.

Stunning Starlet is fed up with Handsome Hunk.

ANDRE Paras says he would win a girl by wooing her family.

HH keeps blabbing to the media that he is pursuing SS, and that they are growing closer every day.

This love story is pure fiction. SS adamantly denies that HH is wooing her, but this does not stop incorrigible HH.

Perhaps SS doesn’t want to “chase pavements that lead nowhere,” as Adele would say.

Crazy encounter

NEW YORK—A French tourist listened to her heart when she offered her pizza to a man rummaging through trash in the streets of New York, not realizing it was Richard Gere making a movie.

Karine Valnais Gombeau, a 42-year-old Parisian, spotted the actor, a knit cap pulled down over his ears, sifting through rubbish as she came out of a pizzeria near Grand Central station in Manhattan, with her husband and 15-year-old son, the New York Post reported on Sunday.

Without blinking, Gere, 64, asked what was in the bag that Gombeau offered him. “I tried to tell him in English, but it came out half in French,” she told the Post.

“I said, ‘Je suis desolee (I am sorry), but the pizza is cold.’ He said, ‘Thank you so much. God bless you.’”

She left without knowing it was Gere making his new movie, “Time Out of Mind,” until the Post ran a photo of the moment two days later.

“It was magical … It’s unimaginable that something like this could happen,” she said, adding she thought Gere, star of “Pretty Woman” and “Chicago,” was still “very handsome.” AFP

Top of the talk shows

For those who missed this week’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

James Reid, asked by Heart Evangelista who his crush was: “Alam mo na … siyempre ikaw.” (Chiz is OK with that?)

James on how he would win a girl’s heart: “I’m adventurous. I’d take her on a trip—somewhere she wants to go—and then sing for her.” (Adventurous na ’yun?)

Andre Paras on how he would win a girl’s heart : “I’m going to talk to her parents. Classic Filipino— liligawan ’yung parents muna and befriend her brothers and sisters.” (First, find out if she likes you.)

Rico Blanco on working with Daniel Padilla for the latter’s second solo concert: “He seems like a cool kid… he did pretty well.” (You’re so nice.)

Rico’s message to Daniel: “Enjoy making music, enjoy performing. ’Yun ang importante sa music.” (Sing in tune. ’Yun ang importante sa amin.)

Daniel on his concert: “Todo practice … Kinakabahan pa ako. Mas kabado ako ngayon.” (Kami rin.)
