Good manners and right conduct

DIZON. Acts her age.

Raffy Tugade, businessman: “I like Sarah Geronimo as an artist because she has maintained good manners and right conduct. However, her coterie of coaches should check her pronunciation of some English words.  In her performance of ‘Let It Go,’ she sang, ‘…the cold never badder me anyway.’ She probably meant  ‘bothered.’

Ma. Cecilia Madronal, college professor: “On her daily TV show, Ryzza Mae Dizon never fails to bring the house down with her antics and witty repartee.

FEATURED STORIES

“A natural, she walks the talk, never forgetting that, first and foremost, she is a child.”

Abby Magnaye, researcher: “I wonder why producers are not interested in making movies based on original Tagalog stage plays. We have a goldmine of them written by brilliant playwrights, both living and dead.”

Ma. Lourdes Dayao, televiewer: “I find pathetic the way Mommy Dionisia is being made a spectacle in various media interviews and guestings. For instance, the segment on Vice Ganda’s birthday celebration where she was interviewed and then asked to dance and sing.

“MD can very well make a spectacle of herself without help from anyone. But to ask her to do a burlesque-like dance is something else.

“Her background and ‘unique’ character are public knowledge. That her ‘uniqueness’ is often exploited in a derogatory way is sad. I feel people should act more responsibly when dealing with her. After all, she is the mother of the Pinoy’s pride and joy.

“I try to understand her background and continue to pray that she will change her ways to earn genuine respect.”
