HBO’s ‘Silicon Valley’ debuts tonight

HBO’S original comedy series “Silicon Valley” is a collaboration between Mike Judge (“Beavis and Butthead”) and Alec Berg (“Seinfeld”), about an introverted genius who finds himself in a bidding war for his  new algorithm. Premiering tonight, 9 p.m. on HBO Signature, the series is partially inspired by Judge’s own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late 1980s.

‘Eat Bulaga’ Lenten specials

“Eat Bulaga” presents six drama specials centering on faith and hope this Lent, starting tomorrow (Holy Monday) until Holy Wednesday.

Two episodes a day will air starting 11:30 a.m. Joining the regular “EB Dabarkads” are Susan Roces, Maricel Soriano and Dennis Trillo, among others.

Helmed by Bryan Fuller (“Pushing Daisies”), season two of the AXN original series “Hannibal” will continue to unravel the early relationship of psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and his patient, FBI criminal profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy).

In the new season, Will Graham is incarcerated in an asylum, accused of Hannibal’s crimes, and fighting to prove his sanity and innocence. The suspense-crime drama airs Thursdays, 10 p.m. on AXN.

‘24: Live Another Day’

The espionage-themed series “24” returns to Philippine television via JackCity on May 6, 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. In the 12-episode “24: Live Another Day,” former CTU agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) faces the threat of terrorists in London.

“24” ran for eight seasons and won Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor (Drama ) in 2006.
