Daniel Padilla Singing Contest Update

MANILA, Philippines— The excitement is building up for the Daniel Padilla Singing Contests of RisingStars as the Top 3 Finalists for Round One have been chosen. They are the first batch of finalists who will move to the next level of the competition, which is a live singing showdown slated on April 26, 4 p.m. at the Robinsons Metro East.

Ronrobin Zarandin bagged the Jury’s Choice award for his cool-as-ice rendition of the Daniel Padilla cover song “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko”.

Big balladeer Wutever Yaya was the Top Voted among the jury selected entries.

FEATURED STORIES

Sweet singer Chichay Balagtas was the Top Voted entry from the non-jury selected entries.

These three contestants will be among the Top 12 who will perform in a face-off where the top 3 best singers of the contest will be chosen. The final best 3 will get that once-in-a-lifetime chance to showcase their singing prowess at The Big Dome! Succeeding rounds are still ongoing until April 13, and voting period ends on April 20.
