Derek Ramsay denies dating Kris Aquino

MANILA, Philippines—Actor-model Derek Ramsay denied rumors that he is dating television host and actress Kris Aquino.
In a report by Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) on Thursday, Ramsay said he and Aquino were just friends.
“There’s no relationship… Hindi ako nanliligaw (I’m not courting her), we’re friends,” Ramsay said in the report.
Ramsay is reacting to Aquino’s Instagram posts about him, sparking netizens’ suspicions that the two were dating.
Ramsay said he and Aquino have been friends since they started the San Miguel beer commercial.
The actor also said he and Aquino have been exchanging views on a variety of topics.
“I asked her advice the other day from something, that’s why she posted, ‘Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be there for you also’ ‘coz I’m really there for her,” Ramsay said.
On Tuesday, Aquino startled her followers on Instagram when she thanked God and the actor for being a part of her life.
“It was a hard day for both of us, you had your personal issues & so did I… But you were there for me & I was grateful you gave me the chance to be there for you… I said it before, super cute na may coffee pa. And now we can add chocolate marble & French Fries to that list…,” Aquino said in her Instagram post.
Aquino added, “THANK YOU because God must love me to give me someone like you to lean on & count on. Bahala na kayo sa interpretation but @ramsayderek11 deserves a shout out. THANK YOU! (love, love, love).
Ramsay was once romantically linked to ABS-CBN prized talent Angelica Panganiban, who is now real-life girlfriend of John Lloyd Cruz.
Besides Ramsay, Aquino has also been romantically linked to Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia, and Daniel Matsunaga.
