Harry Gasser dies at 76

MANILA, Philippines—His film has rolled its final frame.

Veteran newscaster Harry Gasser, one of the most iconic newsmen of the country, has passed away.

He was 76.

According to his son, Henry, Gasser suffered a stroke on March 28, and succumbed to complications around 3:50 a.m. Thursday.
