MANILA, Philippines— Has the rift between actresses Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador finally ended?
It looks like it.
News of their reconciliation was announced Monday by radio host-showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz via a post on his Twitter account when he attended a thanksgiving party at a high-end bar in Taguig City where the two actresses were also in attendance.
Diaz’s added that Chiu has also patched things up with her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson, who is now the boyfriend of Salvador.
Diaz’s quoted Chiu in his Twitter account as saying “Sarap ng walang kaaway.”
(It feels good to have no enemy.)
The reconciliation between the two actresses is a surprising turn of events as Chiu had previously posted an intriguing tweet, which people construed pertained to Salvador who had expressed her desire to mend ties with her former best friend during the launch of her album titled “BELIEVE.”
Chiu said, “ [Sige] lang promo promo din pag may time”.
(Go ahead. Promote all you want.)
But on Monday, Salvador posted on her Twitter account a meaningful post that said, “Goodmorning! Positive monday everyone! #BELIEVE.”
While Salvador somehow hinted on their reconciliation, Chiu has yet to issue a statement on their fence-mending.
The former best friends became estranged middle of 2013 when news broke out that Anderson and Salvador were dating. The two have since admitted their relationship.
Anderson and Chiu broke up in 2010.
