Golden girls

My friends in college couldn’t be happier for any chance to spend time with one another, now that we’ve become golden girls.
Gloria Dominguez Garcia is now a civic leader with Zonta Club—its flagship project is Sagip (Saklolo at Gabay ng Ina ng Pamilya), a 24-hour crisis center for women and children who are victims of violence and abuse in Muntinlupa. She is married to former ABS-CBN president Freddie Garcia.
Linda Victa is an OR nurse in San Diego, California. Myrna Medina Magdaluyo has a degree in interior design, but is into lingerie manufacturing and real estate, specializing in Rockwell properties. She has four sons.
Edna Bulseco Baxter is married to a British IT consultant in Thailand. She has a son and a daughter.
Ups and downs
I have had my share of ups and downs. I adopted four children since they were babies.
These days, my focus is on my children and 10-year-old grandson, Tyler, who bring joy to my life. We make sure we’re together during breakfast and at dinner, and we attend church service together. Life has been good to me. And I’m thankful for lifelong friends like Edna, Myrna, Linda and Gloria!
