‘Feng shui’ expert

For three years now, the LRI Design Plaza has been asking physician cum feng shui expert Andy Tan to share his expertise to help its designers create balance and harmony for their clients. One important tip from Andy when working with clients: Find out what their animal signs are, because some signs are more suitable together—like the Rat, Monkey and Dragon, the Rooster, Ox and Snake, the Tiger, Dog and Horse, and the Pig, Rabbit and Goat.

In the year of the Green Wooden Horse, recall the people you have had disagreements with. Their signs might clue you in on your affinity or differences. Sometimes, there are people who can upset you without much provocation!

Andy says that feng shui concerns itself with location, direction, numerology, colors and astrology. The five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal and water guide people to know what businesses could be profitable for them, depending on the year they were born and the animals identified with them.
