Time was when there were only a few of them, like the Famas, Catholic Mass Media Awards and Urian. Now, we also have those coming from the Film Academy of the Philippines, Young Critics Circle, Star Awards, Entertainment Press, Pasado, Gawad Tanglaw and more.
“It’s hard to tell which among them is the most credible! Needless to say, the prestige of these awards has been diminished because of some questionable results.”
