Gary V sets Valentine’s concert at Harrah’s Rincon
SAN DIEGO—Gary Valenciano, aka Mr. Pure Energy, is celebrating his 30th anniversary in show business with a global concert tour.
His California stop will feature a lavishly produced concert at the Events Center at Harrah’s Rincon Hotel here at 7 p.m. on Feb.16. Adding more energy and color to the concert will be the popular girl group A.K.A. Jam.
Harrah’s Rincon Hotel, known as San Diego County’s premier casino, is located 35 minutes north of downtown San Diego and 75 minutes southeast of downtown Los Angeles, just a few miles off I-15.
Valenciano’s clean-cut blend of gospel and pop songs has made Valenciano the Philippines’ most successful pop star of all time.
Five of his 28 albums have gone platinum, including four double platinums, three triple platinums and two sextuple platinums.
