Actor Dean McDermott enters rehab

NEW YORK – Tori Spelling’s husband, Dean McDermott, has entered rehab, his publicist, Jill Fritzo, confirmed Thursday.

The 47-year-old actor said he’s being treated for “some health and personal issues.”

He said in a statement to People magazine that he’s “truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I’ve caused my family.”

Spelling, 40, is an actress, author and reality star. The couple have four children. He has a son  from a previous marriage.

McDermott said he’s grateful to be getting “the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.”
