‘Mumbai Love’ lead actor Kiko Matos fulfils a dream

MANILA, Philippines—Lead actor Kiko Matos of “Mumbai Love” said on Thursday he was, at first, shy and intimidated working with lead actress Solenn Heussaff.

“But later I felt comfortable. It was a dream come true working with her,” he said in an interview with Radyo INQUIRER 990 AM.

“Mumbai Love,” Matos shared, is a cross-cultural romantic comedy is not only a love story but a tale about how two cultures can come together – setting aside all racial stereotypes and social class barriers in the name of love and friendship.

Matos said he’s grateful of the experience because he was able to immerse in the Indian culture.

Matos also denied there was a kidnapping issue during the shooting of the film.

Also part of the cast is Martin Escudero, Raymond Bagatsing, Ronnie Lazaro, Angelina Kanapi, Jun Sabayton, Jason Ganzia and his cousin Rommie Daryani.
