Starlet ‘manhandled’ by influential lovers

/ 10:08 PM January 21, 2014

Alluring Starlet has little luck in love. She was involved with Influential Beau. During their time together, IB subjected AS to embarrassing public displays of affection.

Shoppers in an upscale mall were once stunned when IB showered hugs and kisses on AS, virtually “manhandling” the poor girl. They soon parted ways. IB ended up with Famous Actress; AS was linked with another Powerful Personality.

During her time with PP, AS’ career blossomed, but it seems she also withered physically.

Was PP a voracious lover? AS looked drained at the end of that affair.

FEATURED STORIES

Risky business

Controversial Celeb has a curious requirement for returning to work. CC is dead set on “collaborating” with good-looking and much younger costars—Popular Moneymaker and Hot Cutie. Will the bosses allow such match-ups?

The last time CC worked on the same project with marquee names—Seasoned Headliner and Newsmaking Upstart—it was a monumental flop. Will the top honcho risk the careers of PM and HC, just to indulge CC? Abangan.

Sour grapes

Crabby Star is unstoppable.

CS often complains in jest, but with punch lines dripping with venom.

Years ago, CS gleefully chided hapless Fellow Thespian, whose only “sin” was unwittingly upstaging CS at an event.

More recently, to make light of an awkward situation, CS cracked another abrasive joke. It seemed CS failed to clinch something she coveted—so sour grapes were flung around in public.

CS’ inner circle may find this predilection hilarious, but some other people are actually offended.

Is this what they call a sense of entitlement? CS should remember that a little humility goes a long way.

Mission impossible

From the Inquirer Radio program “Inquirer Entertainment” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.):

Controversial Personality has been eyeing Hot Hunk for the longest time. CP sent feelers asking HH out on a “date.”

HH was aghast, knowing it would be impossible to fulfill CP’s longings. CP is physically disadvantaged and HH thinks he is much too prodigious.

Undaunted, CP asked HH to name his price. HH came up with a figure that he thought would make CP back out: P20,000. Without skipping a beat, CP exclaimed, “It’s a deal!”

Tough client

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Who knew that Glib Celebrity still had a wild side? Some people may think GC is too old for hanky panky, but staffers of a massage parlor would surely disagree.

The spa’s employees are hesitant to take in GC as a client. Seems GC can be quite demanding—laying out unusual requests that are not on the service menu. Ahem.

Worse, insatiable GC is known for leaving the poor spa attendants totally wasted after each “session.”

Rica’s bundle of joy

JOSEPH, Rica and baby Philip Nathaniel

Rica Peralejo, who gave birth to firstborn Philip Nathaniel Peralejo Bonifacio on Friday, had a “light and fairly easy pregnancy,” her husband, Joseph Bonifacio, told the Inquirer on Sunday.

“It would be more accurate to call her blessed,” Joseph   said in a text message. “She stayed healthy and active the entire time, even during the early part of labor.”

Rica delivered baby Philip Nathaniel via Caesarian section, 2 p.m., on Friday at St. Luke’s Global City in Taguig City. Joseph announced, “He is a big baby! He was 7 pounds and 11 ounces at birth.”

Rica, 32—Regina Carla Peralejo in real life—tied the knot with Joseph, a born-again Christian pastor, in January 2010.

Joseph posted on his Instagram account on Friday: “Welcome, Philip Bo. Tata can’t express how he feels right now, other than I love you … [plus] a hundred other thoughts that are all just good. You’re God’s gift to us.”
