Veteran Performer got to work with Gorgeous Star once. VP was impressed with GS, who wielded considerable power on the set.
The project staffers granted GS’ every whim, with dispatch. When GS was in a foul mood, taping was packed up, no questions asked.
VP didn’t mind a bit—because that meant less work, for the same fee—but wondered why the prima donna’s quirks were tolerated.
Was it because GS was the apple of the boss’ eye at the time?
Treacherous tactic
Noisy Drumbeaters of Major Firm claim their bosses are very much interested in luring Popular Star away from current workplace.
In the same breath, NDs have been spreading malicious gossip about PS. Curiously, a nasty tidbit from PS’ past was revived via an online chismis forum. Were NDs behind the demolition job?
Apparently, NDs’ superiors still consider PS a competitor, more than a prospective ally.
Treachery is SOP in MF.
Fully booked
Promising Actor got the shock of his young life recently when he received an inquiry from Gay Stranger.
PA thought it was for a job, but GS, it turned out, was trolling for … uh, a night of pleasure.
PA had always taken pride in being unflappable, but the indecent proposal caught him off-guard.
For the record, PA rejected the offer. A mole insists that PA need not turn tricks because he is quite the skilful thespian and has a bright future in the biz.
Show biz, not monkey biz.
Ungratefully yours
From the Inquirer Radio program “Inquirer Entertainment” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.):
Handsome Hunk plays Mr. Nice Guy to the hilt. Turns out, he has a mean streak.
HH thought he could already fly solo; he dumped his Stunned Discoverer, with a devastating one-liner: “I don’t need you anymore.”
SD’s heart didn’t skip a beat, though. HH is still obligated to surrender a certain percentage of his earnings from previous deals sealed by SD.
The fury
From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
Seasoned Actress has been stewing in her fury for far too long.
Apparently, SA learned that Influential Insider had been badmouthing her all this time. When she finally crossed paths with II … well, it wasn’t a pretty scene.
SA unleashed a torrent of expletives, knowing that II had been relentless in undermining her efforts to turn a new leaf.
II had eased SA out of a past project and downplayed her contribution to a recent one.

Top show biz news in the Inquirer tabloid Bandera (and why we are moved, if we are moved):
(Matter of course naman ’yan, ’di ba?)
(We thought Dyesebel was a teenager.)
Sarah Lahbati nakipag-ayos na sa Siyete, pero… (Owss?)
(When it comes to these deals, we can know nothing for sure.)
(Including the underage stalker?)
(It ain’t over till it’s over.)
(Is this still because of Gerald?)
Kasal nina Geoff Eigenmann at Carla Abellana naudlot, natakot sa “sukob.” (OK lang. We’re in no rush.)
(Ayyy, isang malaking “No comment!”
kami.)
(Your words, not ours.
Mare?)
