‘Metro Manila’ gets Bafta nod

JOHN Arcilla in “Metro Manila”

Sean Ellis’ “Metro Manila” is nominated for Best Film Not in the English Language at the EE British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) Awards.

“Metro Manila” joins “The Great Beauty,” “Blue is the Warmest Color,” “The Act of Killing” and “Wadjda” on the list.


The Bafta rites will be held Feb. 16 in London.

“Metro Manila” stars Filipinos John Arcilla, Althea Vega and Jake Macapagal. Bayani San Diego Jr.
