ROJAS. It’s better to give than to receive.

Attorney Ferdinand “Joy” Rojas II is happy when he gives others a helping hand. He got this trait from his mother, who always reminded him, “It is better to give than to receive.” He feels privileged to have been appointed by President Noynoy Aquino as General Manager of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, which allows him to save lives and give assistance to those in need.

Rojas enjoys drawing, because it helps him think, relax and focus. Among the favorite animals he draws and paints are horses. They represent loyalty and diligence—and they will be the subject of his upcoming exhibit!
