CineKabalen winners feted
ANGELES CITY—Winners in the 3rd CineKabalen Kapampangan Film Festival were announced at the Holy Angel University on Dec. 6.
Twelve Kapampangan short films competed for various trophies. Carlo Catu’s “Matwang Dalaga” won the Kulturang Kapampangan award. Bor Ocampo’s “Ing Guinu Mu” got a special citation. Runner-up was Brianne Amparado’s “Cabatingan.”

Jonathan David’s “Sulat” won the Aring Sinukwan best film. Amparado won best director for “Cabatingan,” which also won the Audience Choice award.
