Actress Cherie Gil visited her parents, show biz luminaries Rosemarie Gil and Eddie Mesa, who are now based in California. The star of “Sonata” told Inquirer: “My parents are great—looking and feeling healthier than ever, thanks to their discipline. They drink alkaline water.” She related that she stayed with her folks for just three days. “Then I was off to San Francisco for my sister’s birthday. But my parents later joined me there, too. Then I’ll be back in New York to be with my kids again.” She summed up the vacation, away from the hustle and bustle of the biz, thus: “It’s been nice and sweet.
