The beginning of November should make us reflect on our existence and direction in life. Some insights for All Saints and All Souls Days:
All souls are part and parcel of the Supreme Being. We’re all His children, and no one is totally disconnected from God, because we emanate from Him.
All souls are living sparks connected to the Supreme. No soul ever dies, because it is eternal by nature. It’s only the body that dies, so no one should lament when the soul leaves its temporary material garment behind.
A saint is a soul who lives his life serving the Supreme Being. He isn’t a super being, but a humble soul who loves God and His children.
A saint is a living entity like you and me who has wisely made the decision to love and take shelter in the Supreme Person. Others live only for themselves.
Today’s evildoer can become tomorrow’s saint if he decides to act as he is meant to—as a servant of the Supreme!
How does one become a saint? Chant the Holy Names of God and be purified of anger, greed, fear and selfish desires.
Anybody can be a saint. A common quality of saints is their love for the Supreme and compassion for others!
