TV5’S reality show, “Face to Face,” assumes a new look as part of the network’s “Everyday All The Way” programming boost. It has been rechristened “Face The People,” and is telecast Mondays to Fridays at 4:30 p.m.
Tintin Bersola-Babao and cohost Gelli de Belen help their guests resolve contentious issues. The pilot episode tackles the case of a man who wants to undergo a sex-change operation before facing his foreigner boyfriend, who thinks he’s a woman.
New endeavor
What does it take to host a show like “Face The People”? Tintin replies, “I have to have an open mind—and a heart that understands. It’s important not to be judgmental. This isn’t my comfort zone, but with God’s guidance, I hope to do well in this new endeavor.”
On hand to discuss guests’ problems are life coaches, Jarret Pulido, Claude Sta. Clara and Teresa Garcia, while its legal expert, lawyer Karen Jimeno, tackles the legal implications. The show is interactive, as viewers participate in the discussions through social media or text messaging.
